Captain Junior is part of the famous Quepos Smith family. His older brothers, who he grew up fishing with, are now captains of the highest producing yachts in Los Suenos and someone from his family has won every tournament in Costa Rica. This year, his oldest brother, James, dominated the Los Suenos Marlin International tournament as captain of the Dragin Fly.
